TAEPACK TECHPACK BUILDER PRIVACY POLICY Effective Date: February 24, 2026 1. Introduction Welcome to Taepack Techpack Builder (the "App"). We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect information when you use our footwear techpack design application. By accessing or using the App, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the App. 2. Information We Collect 2.1 Information You Provide Directly When using the App, you may provide: Style and product names, style numbers, designer names, season and brand information Material specifications, Pantone color codes, and colorway data Uploaded CAD drawings, reference images, outsole images, and texture files Factory notes, construction specifications, and costing data Anthropic API keys you choose to enter in the Settings panel 2.2 Automatically Collected Information The App may automatically collect: Data stored in your browser's local storage to save your techpack progress Browser type and version for compatibility purposes Basic usage patterns within the App (non-personally identifiable) 2.3 Third-Party API Usage If you enter an Anthropic API key to enable AI features, requests containing image data from your uploaded CAD files may be sent to Anthropic's API servers. How We Use Your Information We use the information you provide solely to: Save and restore your techpack projects within the App Enable AI-assisted features when an API key is provided Improve App functionality and user experience Generate export files (PDF, DOCX, XLSX) on your request We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information or design data to any third parties. 4. Data Storage & Local Processing 4.1 Local-First Architecture Taepack Techpack Builder is designed as a local-first application. Your techpack data — including style information, materials, color specs, and uploaded images — is stored in your browser's local storage on your own device. We do not operate servers that store your techpack content. 4.2 API Key Storage If you choose to enter an Anthropic API key, it is stored only in your browser's local storage and is never transmitted to our servers. It is sent only to Anthropic's API endpoints for AI feature requests you initiate. 4.3 Exported Files Files you export (PDF, DOCX, XLSX, PNG) are generated in your browser and downloaded directly to your device. These files are not uploaded to or stored on any external servers by the App. 5. Data Sharing We do not share your data with third parties except: Anthropic: When you use AI features with your API key, relevant image data is sent to Anthropic's API. This is solely at your initiation. Legal Requirements: If required by law, regulation, or legal process, we may disclose information to comply with applicable obligations. 6. Cookies & Tracking The App does not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics services. Browser local storage is used solely for saving your application state and preferences (e.g., dark/light mode, column widths, saved techpacks). 7. Children's Privacy The App is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take steps to remove it. 8. Data Security We implement reasonable technical measures to protect the App and your data. However, because data is stored locally in your browser, you are responsible for the security of your own device and browser. We recommend: Keeping your browser and operating system up to date Not sharing your Anthropic API key with others Exporting and backing up important techpack files regularly 9. Your Rights Since your data is stored locally on your device, you have full control over it. You may: Clear your browser's local storage to delete all saved techpack data Remove your API key from the App settings at any time Export your techpack data at any time using the App's export features 10. Changes to This Policy We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of material changes by updating the effective date at the top of this document. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. 11.
